Guidelines for Each Area of the Hospital
Observation Services
Visitation is permitted 24 hours a day. To help patients rest and recover, we encourage visits between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
Emergency Department
Access to the treatment area is restricted. Each patient may have one visitor during evaluation and treatment if desired. Children may have both parents present. Visitation may be modified to meet individual patient needs.
Outpatient Treatment
Access to the treatment area is restricted. Each patient may have one visitor during evaluation and treatment if desired. Children may have both parents present. Visitation may be modified to meet individual patient needs.
Keeping Everyone Safe & Comfortable
- Visitors are not permitted to sleep in lobbies or other patient waiting areas.
- Helena Hospital reserves the right to modify or limit visitation for the safety of our patients, staff, and visitors.
- If you are feeling unwell — with fever, cough, sore throat, or nausea — please postpone your visit until you’re feeling better.
- Please silence your phone and keep conversations respectful of other patients.
- Children should be supervised at all times.

Getting In & Where to Park
Main Entrance
The main entrance faces Highway 49 and is open Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM. Outside those hours — including evenings, weekends, and holidays — please use the Emergency Department entrance.
Parking (Free)
- Mon–Fri, 6 AM–5 PM: park in front near the main entrance.
- After 5 PM & weekends: park at the rear near the ED entrance.
- Accessible parking is available near both entrances.
